Our Zero Uplift Promise

WHAT IS AN UPLIFT?

An uplift is an additional fee charged by the law practice. This uplift can amount to an additional 25% of the professional fees charged by a law firm.

For example, in cases where professional fees amount to $10,000.00, an uplift would be an additional $2,500.00 being imposed on your account, resulting in the final amount payable to your lawyers to be $12,500.00.

CAN LAW FIRMS CHARGE THIS AMOUNT?

Given that almost all personal injury lawyers act on a “No Win No Fee” basis, the law permits a law firm to charge this uplift.

This fee is to account for the law practice’s risk in undertaking a conditional client agreement, as well as all outlays expanded in credit on behalf of the client during the course of the matter.

OUR “NO UPLIFT” PROMISE

This is where we are different from most other personal injury law firms.

We DO NOT charge an uplift for our service. In fact, this is infused in our disclosure notice provided to our clients together with our Client Service Agreement.

We feel this promise, when paired with our competitive hourly rate, gives our clients the best chance to end up with more in hand.
